I live in central California. A friend introduced my wife and myself to a clothes optional resort, not far from our home. We enjoyed it so much we wanted to return. We stay with them a couple of days, the trip was wonderful and so we decided we would return.

We tried tent camping when we were younger, but for now we wanted a little more comfort. We purchased a 1990 ford E 150 van, removed the seats installed cabinets stove, sink water tank, small heater, camp toylet, and we were off.

There were many trips in the recent years. Now we have started a one ton 1993 Ford E 350 high top camper van conversion. My wife and I have been working several months and are almost ready for our first trip.

We visited this site to get some last minute ideas on how to finish up. I thought to post some photos of our progress. We generally can't leave for more than 3 to 4 days as we are new grand parents and baby sitters. Another role in our life to enjoy. Thank you for letting us post.

Hi there! Its cool to see a fellow camper van person in the East Bay Area! I am in Pittsburg. My van is currently not running, but I am taking the steps to get it in order. Did you build the inside of your van yourself? Thanks for posting!
